History
Beginnings
-
Late 1970's: resident close-up magician at the Holiday Inn, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
-
Very early 1980's: one of the first adventurous souls to take enter- tainment onto the streets of London's Covent Garden and pioneer an exciting form of spontaneous audience
based entertainment.
-
The 'street act' was then taken onto the Comedy Club circuit.
-
A founder member of the cult New Variety troupe, 'The Magnificent Seven'.
-
The next step was the University circuit.
-
During this period, also performing at private functions, bars and restaurants as a close-up magician.
-
Out of the country from 1986 until 1990 - performing at International Comedy Festivals and working as a close-up magician (mainly in South East Asia) in hotels and
restaurants.

U.K. Work

Used extensively by The British Tourist Authority (mainly in Scandinavia) as an example of eccentric British humour.

Trade shows - a mixture of close-up and cabaret.

Corporate events - close-up magician and gambling expert.
